Review & Description
Crocus plants are relatively small, reaching just 3-6 inches in height (depending on the variety). The leaves are grass-like, generally with a light stripe running up the middle. Many of the spring-flowering crocus bulbs are among the earliest bloomers. The blooms pucker up at night and re-open in the morning.
Pale Lilac Speciosus Fall Crocus: Pale lilac with darker edge, very easy bulb to naturalize, very floriferous and vey inexspensive.
Fall blooming crocus are similar to their spring cousins and flower when not much else is blooming. Best in a sunny location; naturalizes well. The leaves turn a golden yellow.
