Plant has strap like 'lily' leaves and grows in 3' tall clumps. Large pom pom clusters of deep navy violet blue flower heads appear on 3' to 4' stalks in mid to late summer. Easy to grow and naturalize, great borders and ground cover. Great for tubs, containers & also cut flowers. Long lasting blooms. Hardy in Zones 7-9 All parts of this plant are toxic.
