Review & Description
These diminutive Tulips thrive in the rocky, well drained soils of rock gardens. They can also be planted at the front of garden borders if their planting holes are amended with fine gravel. Border Legend has large white flowers with red streaks running up the center of the petals.
Fosteriana Tulips are the largest, most striking of all Tulip varieties. Their large, long, velvety flowers bloom in early spring. Foliage is very attractive, with broad grey-green leaves which are sometimes mottled or striped. Stem is medium to long. They are among the best for perennializing and will blooom together with daffodils. In so many ways, these are simply the best tulips available.
